Why it exists

Events here are scattered across flyers, Facebook groups, and WhatsApp statuses. Miss the right group and you miss the event. This puts them in one list, out every Thursday.

What's on it

Anything open to the public: club nights and gigs, but also run clubs, markets, talks, bird walks, and kids' fun days. We're starting north of Samora, but events from anywhere in Harare are welcome.

How an event gets listed

Organisers send us flyers, or we find them posted publicly. We list what the flyer says and nothing more — if it has no price, neither do we. Each event page shows when we last checked it.

Cancelled events stay up, marked cancelled, so nobody drives across town for nothing.

Money

Community events are free to list, always. Nobody pays for a pick. If a promoter pays for a spot, it's labelled "Featured (paid)" and kept apart from the picks.
